Forbes: Rich Nations Go Broke by Overpromising and Overspending
by Bob Adelmann | 5:42 am, December 2, 2011
Just because the United States is large and rich doesn’t mean it can’t go broke. In fact it is following in the same footsteps as innumerable other rich states in history. Why would we expect a different outcome?
Natelson: Military Action in Libya is Unconstitutional
by Jon Caldara | 1:39 pm, March 25, 2011
Our resident Constitution scholar Rob Natelson has been on fire lately! He wrote a really interesting blog post the other day on why our military involvement in Libya is unconstitutional. He also sat down with one of my minions for an iVoices.org podcast to elaborate on the points he made in his blog post. Head [...]

War Protest in DC – No, Really…
by T.L. James | 8:40 am, March 20, 2010
Hey, remember when political protests used to be about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq? You know…back before President Obama was elected, and fulfilled all his campaign promises to end the wars, withdraw the troops, and undo the foreign policy tangle which – like every other problem he has faced in the past year – he inherited [...]

by T.L. James | 8:18 am, February 17, 2010
Here’s a few more pictures and a few minutes of video from Monday evening’s debate event with former Bush Administration political advisor Karl Rove and former Vermont governor and former Democrat Party chairman Howard Dean. As Michael noted in his post, we as press were only allowed to shoot photos and videos for the first [...]
What will you remember on Memorial Day?
by John West | 12:28 pm, May 24, 2009
I am a veteran. Or at least I was a Reservist. I was an Airborne Infantryman before President Clinton took the combat arms units out of the Reserves. I will not try to compare my service to that of a WWII vet or even a current vet from Iraq or Afghanistan. Those people have actually [...]
Sheeple Watch #13: Obama, bin Laden
by T.L. James | 11:12 pm, January 15, 2009
Remember how President-elect Øbama promised that He would re-focus our efforts in the War on Terror to getting Osama bin Laden? Recall how He pandered to the nutroots by agreeing with them that President Bush had ‘taken his eye off the ball’ by invading Iraq instead of pursuing bin Laden to the ends of the [...]
Israel Rally and Palestine Protest
by zombiehunter | 7:04 pm, January 11, 2009
The most significant difference I noticed between the Israel Rally and the Palestine Protest was the use of props. Take a look: This is what the Israel side had to say. And then apparently the Hamas side agreed and hung targets on their children. And then they hid behind them. (I thought they only did [...]
Pro-Israel Rally In Denver
by elpresidente | 6:32 pm, January 11, 2009
Between 500-700 anti- and pro-Israel folks made their way to the State Capitol, and through the use of speakers and signs, made their voices heard. There was little confrontation (thankfully), but the emotion was running high on both sides, and police kept everyone off of Lincoln. There are tons of photos after the break, and [...]
