by Randall Smith | 6:30 am, October 20, 2011
A quick divergence into mobile technology and privacy before we hit the links, Opera is changing their web browser on Android phones so that it will decide, on it’s own, whether it will render pages directly or pipe them through Opera’s servers first. …

by PerlStalker | 11:06 pm, February 8, 2011
Well, isn’t this interesting.
Written in partnership with pro-gun group Rocky Mountain Gun Owners, House Bill 1205 is being sponsored by freshman Rep. Chris Holbert, R-Parker. It would make it optional to carry a concealed-carry permit.

SCOTUS Upholds Second Amendment
by PerlStalker | 10:52 pm, June 28, 2010
Good news, today, from the Supreme Court. In a 5-4 ruling, the Supreme Court ruled that the Second Amendment applies to the states just like the First, Forth and every other Constitutional Amendment does. The Court has, over the years, used the 14th Am…
Rocky Mountain Gun Owners vs. Dan Maes
by PerlStalker | 10:08 pm, June 7, 2010
There’s been bit of a dust up between the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners and Colorado Governor candidate Dan Maes over Maes’ answers to the RMGO’s candidate survey. It seems that Maes’ answers were not what RMGO was looking for and has led them to question …

The people had an individual right to arm themselves for protection. This meant that DC citizens could own handguns. Well, [...]
My gun is safer than your dog.
by TJ Wihera | 10:40 am, May 21, 2009
I recently saw an advertisement for a service that trained companion/protection dogs. One of the selling points on the ad was that their trained attack dogs are safer than a firearm. If your jaw isn’t on the floor, it’s because you mis-read the last sentence. They claimed that a dog is safer than a firearm. [...]
Ritter vetoes bipartisan Gun Check simplification bill, putting politically correct pandering ahead of 2nd Amendment rights
by Captain Arapahoe | 11:30 pm, May 17, 2009
Governor Bill Ritter announced the veto of House Bill 1180, passed with a strong bipartisan majority (including 19 Democrats), “which would have allowed law-abiding gun owners to purchase firearms without jumping through hoops and waiting for additional criminal background checks” late Friday afternoon. In what is becoming a pattern for “Backdoor Bill” Ritter, his veto [...]
