This isn’t a mistake or an error in judgment. The “experts” in government agencies really do think they are smarter than we are – the rubes, the country class – and therefore arrogate unto themselves the job of telling us what to do. The word “arrogance” comes from “arrogate.” Appropriate, don’t you think?
