One Flimsy White House Promise and a Classified Vote Later, And We Have A New CIA Director
by Eileen | 4:32 pm, March 5, 2013
The last public news on John Brennan, Barack Obama’s pick to head the CIA, was weeks ago, when his public confirmation hearing was held. In short, Code Pink made fools of themselves, Brennan lied, committee chair Dianne Feinstein lied and made a fool of herself, and there was posturing all around. In other words, all went according [...]
BATFE Empowered to Override the Constitution
by Bob Adelmann | 1:39 pm, October 27, 2012
The Justice Department under Obama is no friend of the Second Amendment. It has just issued, on its own authority, a new rule allowing the BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) to help themselves to your guns without a warrant. As Nita Chei, a writer at the Washington Times, explains: The Obama administration [...]

Allen Stanford’s Ponzi Scheme a Study on Regulatory Capture
by Bob Adelmann | 3:19 pm, March 9, 2012
The reason this guy got away with this for so long is that he was simply buying off people to look the other way. Courts and Dept of Justice Agree: Videotaping Police is OK
by Bob Adelmann | 12:36 pm, February 13, 2012
The pen is mightier than the sword. And so, it appears, is the cellphone. The right to video tape government officials’ bad behavior has always been a citizen’s right. Now the courts and, amazingly, the Department of Justice as well, are recognizing and confirming the right. It’s showtime!
Arrogant ATF Makes Up Rules As It Goes Along
by Bob Adelmann | 12:22 pm, January 8, 2012
This is truly one of the most villainous and dangerous of the unconstitutional agencies. Just reading about their attacks on innocent civilians over the years gives me the willies.
Seeing Stars: It’s the End Of Civilization … and a Post Office
by Randall Smith | 6:30 am, November 5, 2011
Pay attention to the story about Hooper below. This story will play out in towns across America. It’s the people in these small towns who will wail and gnash their teeth and try to prevent Congress from reforming the Post Office.
Okay, it’s link time…
Seeing Stars: What’s a Few Lies Between Friends?
by Randall Smith | 6:30 am, October 26, 2011
There’s all sorts of fun stuff today. Pay special attention to the DoJ giving itself permission to lie to you about FOIA requests. Don’t worry though because this is the most transparent administration ever.
On to the snark-filled world of links.
