The town that liberalism built is making a comeback? I doubt it, not unless they have started a conservative movement there and even then it may be way too late. The city in America hardest hit by recession, union industry control and liberalism gone unchecked has been the model of how not to run a city for a long time, now it's just dangerous.

Yesterday the ad we saw led us to believe that the Motor City was making a comeback. One question, why did they not film it there?

Great opinion article at AmSpec about the history behind conservatives resistance to modern "scientific" belief systems..It's not what the leftists call science that is actually at issue here. It's what they want to do to our society as a result of that so called "science" that is the problem. Funny thing is (actually not funny at all) that the fruit of all this societal tinkering based on "science" is ALWAYS more government intrusion, more government control and higher taxes so they can pay for all that.

Now that Romney is well on his way to becoming the Republican Presidential nominee he is keeping up with the GOP tradition of saying something stupid the Main Stream Press and the Left Wingnuts (but I repeat myself) can use to BASH HIM over the head with and repeat, out of context until the world knows our guy hates poor people, or wants to kill old people, is a racist, or ...INSERT DIVISIVE ACCUSATION HERE. For Romney, his first gift is this; “ I’m not concerned about the very poor that have a safety net," Then he went on to say how he only wants to focus on the middle class. Of course, he was making a point about the middle class needing the shot in the arm right now, but it does not matter, this will be used to beat him with, because he did not think through this appeal properly before he said it. Put your CUP on Mitt, here it comes. Is Romney only going to focus on the middle class? Of course not but that will be how it sounds. Epic Fail: 1,000 Days Without Doing Their Job. Today marks the 1000th day that the US Senate has failed to pass a budget. The House has created and given them a budget many times, they refuse to act and pass to the POTUS, because then they would be accountable to a decision. TTBO..throw the bums out.

While the next POTUS is very important that he NOT be Obama for many reasons, the Senate is the key. We must force Reid and his ilk into a new line of work.

January 25, 2011: A cache of seized weapons used in the ATF gun-running operation 'Fast and Furious' is displayed at a news conference in Phoenix.

The chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona is refusing to testify before Congress regarding Operation Fast and Furious, the federal gun-running scandal that sent U.S. weapons to Mexico.

Patrick J. Cunningham informed the House Oversight Committee late Thursday through his attorney that he will use the Fifth Amendment protection.

Cunningham was ordered Wednesday to appear before Chairman Darrell Issa and the House Oversight Committee regarding his role in the operation that sent more than 2,000 guns to the Sinaloa Cartel. Guns from the failed operation were found at the murder scene of Border Agent Brian Terry.

The letter from Cunningham’s Washington DC attorney stunned congressional staff. Last week, Cunningham, the second highest ranking U.S. Attorney in Arizona, was scheduled to appear before Issa‘s committee voluntarily. Then, he declined and Issa issued a subpoena.

Google and Others Embrace Vile Attack on Santorum

Anyone familiar with political history (particularly Prohibition) knows that single issue movements are dangerous. If a group of people only interested in one social issue (say Gay Marriage, or Abortion) hold too much sway in the general public, and the media in particular we can get the worst kind of laws and the worst kind of law makers...for long periods of time. Prohibition was one of the stupidest things ever put into law yet it lasted 11 years all because of single issue voting groups holding too much sway in Washington. The Gay lobby and those in the media who give them way more power than than a tiny minority deserves are corrupting our choices for elected officials. Their newest victim (actually they've been trying to destroy him for years but now it's at a new level) is Rick Santorum. Regardless of how you feel about this social issue, we must get back to sanity and not give credence to idiots like Dan Savage. I do not know how to fix this other than to make voters aware of it, so here it is.

When Rick Santorum essentially tied in Iowa, he gave his campaign new life. He also guaranteed America would finally learn just how disgusting, vile and despicable the left is in this country. And how major news outlets and one of the most well-known businesses in the world – Google – are complicit in trying to destroy Santorum because he opposes gay marriage.

Santorum is the victim of what Reuters partner The Wrap and many other organizations call a “Google problem.” That’s quite the understatement. He was attacked with a Google bomb from Dan Savage, a gay advocate and sex columnist who hates straight people who don’t agree with him. He also thinks they should be silenced, bullied and blackmailed. That’s exactly how he’s treated Santorum.

Not only did Paul join forces with Barney Frank to slash military preparedness, but he ended up putting the experts of a foreign billionaire with global ambitions in charge of the project.
