Michael J. Sandoval, most recently the Colorado election reporter for National Review Online's Battle '10 site, began blogging at Slapstick Politics six years ago. He is a freelance contributor to NRO's "Primary Event" blog and Breitbart's Big Government blog. In 2008, he cofounded People's Press Collective, Colorado's largest libertarian/conservative group blog and a pioneer in mobile livestreaming technology, and has hosted several citizen journalist training sessions for the liberty movement in the state since then. An expert in new media and a student of social media, Michael's work has been featured by the Drudge Report, The New York Times, Washington Post, Politico, Fox News and blogs like MichelleMalkin.com, HotAir.com, and Instapundit.com. At the Independence Institute he completed an internship focused on investigative reporting, and contributes occasionally to the Colorado Spending Transparency project and Mothers Against Debt blogs. Dr. Julian Dunraven has served on the People’s Press Collective (PPC) board since its incorporation in 2009. As a PPC contributor, he mainly writes commentary on matters of constitutional law and policy, economics, investment, and professional etiquette. When not writing for the PPC, he earns his living as a lawyer practicing in corporate transactions. He is also an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at Everest College. Educationally, Dr. Dunraven holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Political Science-International Relations and History, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration (M.P.A.) focusing on Public Policy and Economics. Finally, for his Juris Doctor degree (J.D.), he concentrated his studies primarily upon corporate law and finance.
