Square State: Promoting Pro-Union Rally With Violent Rhetoric

by | 1:54 am, February 19, 2011 | 5 Comments

I’m sorry… but how exactly does this comport with the Left’s past six weeks of handwringing over the need for “civility” and an end to “violent rhetoric”?

Tuesday February 22nd, 2011 there will be a rally in support of Wisconsin workers protesting their Governor’s violent through the barrel of a gun threats to outlaw collective bargaining for state workers.

Given our own Governor’s shady and self-righteous attitude about cutting rights and benefits to state employees, we need to send a clear message that there will be hell to pay if he continues in the same direction as the Wisconsin governor. This is one way you can help send that message. [emphasis added]

And this was the post after the author “Fong” became embarrassed and decided to tone it down a bit.

Obviously, the “new tone of civility” talk was only meant for Republicans. Leftists on the march in Madison have demonstrated that they have no intention of avoiding violent rhetoric at their own rallies.

What are you guys talking about? The governor of WI threatened to bring out the National Guard should protesters do something he doesn’t like. That’s what the “barrel of the gun” bit is.

Oh goodie. My comment is in moderation. That makes this site very inefficient.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. NOW I get it. You’ve quoted two different diaries as though they’re the same thing. Jesus. Could you guys get anymore dishonest?

And what ever happened to my repeated attempts to contact the owner of this blog for a collaborative project to see what both sides have in common?

Or is it that you’re not interested because you’d much rather craft posts according to a reality that doesn’t exist. NOW I get it. I was so naive to think otherwise.

I only looked at one of your “diaries”, so I couldn’t have been selectively quoting from two of them.

And most of PPC is out of town on business or other matters this weekend.
