Seng Center 2010 Election Endorsements and Voter Guide

by | 5:00 pm, October 23, 2010 | 6 Comments

The election is rolling forward, and we at The Seng Center Radio Show thought that we would provide readers of these pages and listeners of the weekly show with a suggested voter guide for the 2010 elections. These endorsements merely provide host Jimmy Sengenberger's strong recommendations for every voter in this extremely important election; they are not representative of any other entity other than Jimmy and Seng Center. We hope you will consider his positions on these votes when making your own decisions.

A Forward from Jimmy: I would like to emphasize 10 votes in particular: Governor and U.S. Senate, the three Supreme Court Justices, and Amendments 60, 61, and 63 and Proposition 101. If you are interested in exploring my positions further, I would be happy to communicate with you about it. Just shoot me an e-mail or make a comment on this page.

Oh, Jimmy, I’ve just been waiting for your recommendations with bated breath. I don’t really care who you recommend. Who do you think you are? I have a brain and I’ll think for myself.

Whitney, my intention with this list was simply to publicly list out my personal endorsements for my listeners/readers and anyone who is interested. I don’t expect anyone to take them and vote lock-step with how I recommend, nor do I expect to influence many, if anyone, with my list. All it is is my two cents. Freedom of speech, you know?

Please feel free to list out on what votes you differ in a comment response to this post as well :)

Evidently you do care enough about who he recommends to tell him that you don’t, instead of simply ignoring what he wrote.

If you disagree with his recommendations, why not say so, and explain why, and use the opportunity before you to change the minds of others who might otherwise read and agree with Jimmy? Or for that matter, strengthen the resolve of people who share your own opinions but could benefit from having them publicly reinforced in a forum where different positions are being promoted?

RE: 60, 61 & 101 you said “Good in principle, but the implications are just too great.” I don’t understand. Have you even read the text of these three ballot measures or you simply follow the Denver Pravda/Post and the establishment’s oppinion?!!

Plese explain what implications are “too great”. What, if any, harmful effects do you anticipate. Please be specific about each of the three.

You should consider Al Maurer’s assessment on Amendment Q and perhaps vote no. He writes for PpC and has his own blog called, “Reclaim The Blue” which is on the right side of this blog post.
