I will be soooooo glad when today is behind us and we can get on with our battle against the real enemy and threat to our nation. I pray that we come together because if we don’t, we will lose this country.

Jane Norton is the real enemy and we must finish with her and Josh Penry today. After that we will worry about our country.

Buck’s looking good. Now has a 10k vote lead. DP reports GOP considering governor race replacement by ReMax founder, and guy who owns his very own personal championship golf course, Dave Liniger.

McConnell tanks, despite Palin thumbs up; Southern Colorado TP endorsee JJ Ament loses to old-money GOP Stapleton; Ken “Running-for-Senate-While-Drawing-Taxpayer-Salary-What’s-Your-Problem-Joe-Garcia?” Buck seems certain over Norton; Maes over McInnis but still unemployable.

    Cirulli called Senate for Buck.

Robert, Buck pledged to take unpaid leave from DA’s office in the general election campaign. He seems to be running DA’s office just fine. Just nailed a murder one the other day with no body, not an easy task. He’s an adroit multi-tasker, but hopefully he’ll abide by longstanding pledge for the general.

The general requires a lot more voter oriented appearances and is much more time consuming.

Seriously that is the kind of behavior and language that makes us all look like idiots. Who needs liberals….we tear up each other just fine without their help. Jane Norton is not evil and neither is Ken Buck. Could everyone stop acting like 5 year olds. Are you honestly saying that you would rather have Bennett over Norton. Give me a break.

    Alix,

Telling the truth, in my opinion, does not make anyone look like an idiot. Jane Norton is in fact evil and I can prove it. Watch this video and think for yourself – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEx6MBSOTsQ . I have been a Republican activist for 25 years and I would have voted for a third party, rather then vote for a political whore like Jane Norton.

You are completely free to have an opinion, and voice it however you wish to that’s your right. However, if you want to convey your opinion in a way that makes people listen to you and take you seriously instead of write you off as childish and mean, then I suggest you rethink using words like whore, and evil. I to think that Jane Norton was not a good choice for Senator. She has exhibited poor choices politically in the past and really has run an extemely negative and unplaesant campaign. I do not think she is evil or a whore. People like Osama Bin Laden and Sadam Hussein are evil. Jane Norton to my knowledge has never ordered the murder of thousands of people.

The thing that has driven me nuts about the campaign process this year is how violent and nasty people’s words have become. Why can’t we just say that we don’t like someone as a candidate, why do we have to “hate” them or declare the “evil”. I pesonally supported and voted for McInnis…..but I don’t hate Maes, I just liked McInnnis better. One of the reasons I did not like Maes was based on the extremely poor and rude treatment I recieved from his campaign staff….the wuld tell me they hated McInnis, and I was stupid for supporting him…..Doesn’t make me want to listen to your message after you call me stupid, it also makes me really think before wanting to join his Campaign or donate to it now and help him…Do I really want to work alongside people who 4 weeks ago called me stupid?

I don’t think you shouldn’t have an opinion, just think about how phrase it if you want to win others to your side. If I had supported Norton, I certainly wouldn’t want to join Buck’s campaign or donate to it after reading your comments.

    Alix and T.L. James

Under normal circumstances I would agree that Republicans should conduct their political campaigns in a civil manner; however, I strongly believe that Jane Norton is an exception. There are certain bounds of decency that human being may not cross. Jane Norton, have in fact crossed these bounds. If you seen this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEx6MBSOTsQ , you will realize that deliberately drug an innocent man’s reputation through mud, despite the fact that a number of high ranking members of her campaign knew that her accusation were based on lies. Despite the fact that a large numbers of Republicans told them that they are saying things which are dishonest and immoral. Despite all of this Jane Norton continued to destroy Greg Golyansky’s reputation. The situation is particularly ironic given the fact that according to Norton’s profile in the Denver Post her own son is in fact a criminal with a long list of arrests as an adult. Thus, I stand by my words when I call Jane Norton evil and a political whore. Thank you.

My complaint isn’t with your arguments or your opinions about Jane Norton and her actions, just with your choice of words. There are better ways to express your anger and disgust with Mrs. Norton and her campaign than to simply call her a “whore” on our website.

    Rebel,

So your rational is that because she is a jerk in your opinion it justifies you acting jerk towards her and anyone who supports her.

You last post was at least civil, and did at least explained why you don’t like Jane Norton. I will agree that having only watched this youtube video and not having the time to research further, I would argee that smearing an innocent person’s name is wrong and should not be tolerated. It however doesn’t make someone a whore.

I wouldn’t use nasty words. I think that what Jane Norton seems to have done to your friend is horrible, and unacceptable especially coming from a person running for public office. I didn’t think she ran a very honorable or respectable campaign. However when we say things like hate, evil, whore, scumbag etc. we sound just like the liberals who can’t attack candidates without using rude words and nasty namecalling.

Liberals do this because they often don’t have and issues or facts that they can use to build a logical argument for not supporting a candidate. You have a logical arguement, and can make it without using childish language. So don’t descend to their level, instead tell people why you don’t think someone is the best choice with a calm well thought out arguement….you’ll win a lot more people over to you point of view than just saying don’t vote for someone they are evil/a whore/a scumbag.

Also this is a mute point because she lost. I would guess in a large part to her poor choices in how she conducted her campaign. I think the lesson learned is taking the high road, and acting in a mature and honorable manner draws more voters to you than baseless and needless personal attacks.
