Tom Tancredo: The case for impeachment

Former Congressman (and perhaps future Governor?) Tom Tancredo has an Op-Ed in the Washington Times today backing up his statement, made famous at the Ken Buck event a couple of weeks ago, that Barack Obama is the biggest threat facing this nation, and arguing that at least one part of Obama’s behavior is impeachable.
It will be interesting to see if any of this filters into the CO governor’s race…

If Tancredo does indeed run, he has just provided ample ammunition for the left to label him…again…as an extremist. While I’d be all in favor of impeaching Obama, the failure to protect the border isn’t the impeachable offense I was thinking of. The Feds haven’t properly managed immigration in decades. You might as well line up a slew of government officials if that offense is impeachable. I can hear undecided independents running from Tom right now.

Right on – this President should be impeached. We need him gone and the sooner the better before this country is no more. He has put us in several dangerous positions and should never have been President in the first place. If the press had asked the hard questions and done the appropriate investigation, he would not be up there on his “throne” dictating how we should live while he parties and vacations on our dime!
