**Update–Ben DeGrow has posted his list of winners and losers from today’s assembly.
Dan Maes: “Wow.”
Maes 49.35% (1741)
McInnis 48.89% (1725)
JJ Ament 79%
Ali Hasan 20%
Ken Buck 77%
Cleve Tidwell 15%
As Lynn Bartels of the Denver Post notes, Joe Geschwendtner (Governor), Walker Stapleton (Treasurer), and Tom Wiens and Jane Norton (Senate) have already declared their intentions to petition onto the ballot for the August 10 primary. Both Ali Hasan and Cleve Tidwell still have the option to petition onto the ballot as well, having earned at least 10% of the vote at today’s assembly.
In other words, the final field of candidates for the primary is far from decided. Stay tuned.

I guess that silly little liberty movement (tea party) wasn’t as little as the front runners thought. The country and Colorado will not go “politics as usual”.
For anyone that says so and so can’t win, or you should vote for so and so because they are “electable” make sure to tell them your voting for principals and leadership. That’s electable this year.

Whoopy ! JJ Ament has been frugal in his campaign spending. Oh, and he’s been an advisor for public funds. Hasan spent all that money on advertising; Joanne Colt’s golden boy, wants to strengthen TABOR – which is ruining El Paso County and divest of all investments except Colorado business. Ummm, what ever happened to investing in divers, secure, winning stocks versus one geographical area. Sorry McInnis, you got the qualifications and so does Maes. Maes doesn’t have to kow tow to Republican insiders. Thank God for Ken Buck, a real conservative and family man. Oops Jane Norton, you’re hanging around Chuck Broerman, a man who can’t seem to follow rules, obey laws, and is definately on the sleazy side of politics. Eeek, he makes my skin crawl. Next time choose someone with some sense of integrity. Stapleton, don’t waste your time or money. Wipe behind your ears and come back in a couple of years. Oh, God is so good. Yes He is !

Ben De – don’t forget on your amusing list to tell Ali Hasan that Colorado losers should bail out. More money won’t solve his enormous integrity problems and lack of understanding of freshman economics.
