Remember November

The RNC may be fumbling about as it tries to puzzle out the interwebs, but the Republican Governors Association seems to be picking up the slack as far as online Republican videos go. The video is part of their Remember November website.
It’s decently done, but you know it’s actually being effective when the left is in whining histrionics about the trivial association between the rhyming slogan and the Guy Fawkes “Remember, Remember…” nursery rhyme popularized in this country by V for Vendetta. You may recall that movie as one which, among other things, condones the use of terrorism to bring down the government and turn over the entire social order — which just happens in that case to be a ludicrous mishmash of every bedwetting leftist fantasy of “right wing fascism”, chock full of explicit references to the then-current Bush administration.
The comments on the Time Magazine article are, if nothing else, a glimpse into a very strange alternate reality, where this one rhyming title turns this little video into a Riefenstahlian meisterwerk of seditious propaganda advocating the violent, terroristic overthrow of the Obama administration…with a froth of racist overtones glopped on as meringue, because no lefty critique of the GOP is complete without a charge of racism.

Of course not! Why would anyone conclude that errors are geographical? Errors are errors and attempts to reinflate the British economy using the same hot air compressors that we use here aren’t going to work any better over there than they have here.
