Update 4: Hatred, Violent Rhetoric, and Racism at the Denver Tax Day Tea Party…

…counterprotest.
**Update 4– a lefty infiltrator exposed–First he’s “Tom” then “Matt”:
** Update 3: Dinah Lord captured what may have been an infiltrator and what was certainly an arrogant tool as he and his “crew” attempted to interview Tea Party ralliers. Those who were close to the Capitol may have seen the same long-haired guy standing up on the steps behind the speaker’s podium for part of the rally. Dinah’s experience underscores the importance of what we tell everyone in the grassroots: never go anywhere without a camera!
**Update 2: A view from the other side of Lincoln, complete with a cameo by DNC moonbats and Recreate ‘68 honchos Mark Cohen and Glenn Spagnuolo (and another video on the difference between Tea Partiers and the leftist counterprotesters at yesterday’s Denver Tea Party):
“Remove AmeriKKKa from Stolen Land”. Eliminationist rhetoric on open display at the Tax Day Tea Party counterprotest.
Remove who? And by what means? For whose benefit? On what philosophical grounds?
Note the first appearance in Denver of the new left/”Progressive” slander label for Tea Partiers: “tea-klanners”.
Other side of the same guy’s signs.
The banality of threadbare vulgarity. Obviously these young women didn’t get the memo that the preferred term of derision has been updated.
Updated to Add: As commenter James says below, the police were apparently concerned about the potential for violence at the Tea Party counterprotest…they had a stronger presence on the counterprotest side of Lincoln and intervened a few times, while there were only a few bicycle cops on the rally side, watching the goings-on.

[...] Well, actually, at the left/”Progressive” counterprotest. [...]
April 16th, 2010 @ 12:31 pm
I was there.
Behind the approximatley 70 counter-protesters were about a dozen uniformed cops standing next to their cruisers. Mingling among the Tea Party crowd were about 3 bicycle cops, that I saw.
On a couple occasions that I saw, the cops overseeing the counter-protesters moved en-mass towards the front of the group of counter-protesters. Some sort of discussion occurred, and then the cops withdrew. I was too far away to know what motivated the cops to move.
The bicycle cops, on the other hand, seemed to have very little to do, other than hang out and listen to speeches.
I did get a kick out of the “Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing its idiot” sign. That was the only birther-ish sign I saw.
At one point some guy did try to take the podium and speak. He barely got two words out before being ushered away.

Thanks for pointing that out, James. I saw the pictures of police cars near the counterprotest, but didn’t make the connection that they might have been there specifically because of the potential for unruliness of the people on that side of the street.

As for the guy who rushed the podium, he was attempting to talk about “some other candidate” — didn’t hear which candidate or even what race it was in, but it should be on the archived video Michael posted.

My husband went over to the counter protester side just to find out what they are about and said there was one guy who was using the F word so much that a policer officer asked him to stop or be removed. Robert also said the opposition were yelling profanties to those on rally side. What I saw was multiple police with the counter protesters which at the time looked like maybe 60-75 people and I only saw 3-4 officers as I walked around our rally of approx 4000.
So who are the angry mobsters? Who is trying to incite violence?

I was standing across from the leftist counter protesters minding my own business (and mocking them) when a film crew came by asking questions about ‘reverse racism’.
One of the tea partiers asked for the film crew and interviewer’s credentials and that’s when the fun began.
Upon being challenged two members of the three man film crew went off on the guy.
I whipped out my Ipod Nano and started rolling.
The video is here: http://dinahlord.typepad.com/dinah_lord/2010/04/lefty-infiltrator-exposes-his-true-colors-at-denver-tea-party-4152010.html
Does anyone recognize any of these guys???
Thanks a lot.

Great video, Dinah – I’m embedding it in the post!
And yes, I saw that same guy loitering on the steps behind the speakers for a while during the rally. Thought it was Mike Littwin at first, but he was a bit younger.

Thanks, T.L.
He certainly IS an arrogant tool!
April 17th, 2010 @ 7:16 am
BTW – did you happen to notice if this long haired bleeping gnome was filming or ‘interviewing’ anyone when he was up on the Capitol steps?
Just curious.

I’m so proud of our fellow Tea Partiers and how well they presented/handled themselves especially those who outed or engaged the looney leftists. Noticed that group of our folks went across Lincoln and interspursed themselves among counter-protests to diminish their message & impact on passer-bys. Dinah, you should become an investigative video reporter! MSM, I mean lame stream media, could take lessons from you.

Hey TL – I think I’ve ID’d this guy. Can you contact me over at my blog so I can ask you a few questions…
Thanks – Dinah

Spies and infiltrators oh my!
I was trying to talk about Jane Norton.
Think about Ken Buck’s closing argument.
