I’d like to know where John Hickenlooper stands on this issue. I also would like to know if he owns guns. This is important to my Second Amendment rights.

Littwin is absolutely right, this is not about crime, this is not about safety this is about CULTURE.
The purpose of the CCW ban on campus is to punish and run off CONSERVATIVES.
Its a reinforcement of the cultural Stalinism that exists on college campuses.

With all due respect to preceding comments – this is not about safety or culture, it is about a quasi-governmental entity acting in violation of the law to deprive a set of Colorado citizens of their rights under our state Constitution and state statute.
The CSU Board of Governors has no authority to supersede state law – as Sheriff Alderden points out in Segment 2 (about 7 mins mark).
This action can, and will, be challenged in a court of law; unfortunately, as a matter of state law, it is likely to end up before the Colorado Supreme Court, where its fate is, at best, uncertain.
However, voters have the opportunity to intervene and change the composition of the court this November.
