Four Corners Gang of Six Representing Us on Capitol Hill

***UPDATE*** 11 pm March 21th on Four Corners Gang of Six -

Trip Timer: 72.5 hours Our intrepid Four Corners Gang of Six started the 30+ hour drive back in the morning and had to hear the UnConstitutional freedom killing health care bill passed after over 12 hours of driving. They called into Jon Caldara’s show & were the first to speak after his intro segment. Wendy was upbeat and determined. She spoke of how the trip had been well worth the time and effort – of being so encouraged by the experience and the collective resolve of standing with over 25,000 others on Capitol Hill in the battle to take our country back. Also, Fox 31 posted another story with an email from Casey about the gang’s experiences on Saturday in Washington DC.

We wish our true representatives a safe trip home, which will not end until this afternoon.  We thank you six soulmates for making this incredible effort and journey on our behalf.  God bless you and God Save the United States of America!

***UPDATE*** 6:30 am March 21th on Four Corners Gang of Six -

Trip Timer:  56 Hours  Our true representatives returned to Capitol Hill at 5pm to chant and sing patriotic songs. Many people (estimate half) who had been there at noon did not return, but there still were thousands. At the 2nd rally our gang met 2 ”neighbors” from Farmington NM. Other than the 800 people from San Diego CA who had made the trip on a caravan of buses most of the people our gang met at both events Saturday were from within a day’s drive of DC.

Wendy fell asleep on the Metro riding back to their hotel after the evening rally. The whole gang slept well and were packing up when I spoke to them at 6:30 am MDT. They will be back on the road soon since they have to get back to their lives and jobs after another 30+ hour drive straight thru home today and tomorrow.

We will continue to follow their trip home.  They are planning to call into Jon Caldara’s show on KOA 850AM this evening during his 10 pm MDT hour as he requested when speaking with them Friday evening. 

The 9.12 Project and Tea Party groups in Colorado send a Rocky Mountain Thank You to the Four Corners Gang of Six, our true representatives (for once) on Capitol Hill in Washington DC on Saturday, March 20, 2010.  Reminder for all the rest of us who have been enjoying the comforts of home this weekend – if these committed six patriots can go through such an extraordinary, physically grueling effort to represent us, at the very least we can make phone calls, send faxes/emails, and stand together this afternoon at 3pm at the Capitol in Denver or 4pm at the corner of Academy & Briargate Blvd. in Colorado Springs. Stand for Our America Today!

We have been following our Four Corners Gang of Six 9.12 Project and Tea Party sisters and brothers since they left Durango around 10:30 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2010 in response to Rep. King’s call to flood the US Capitol and Kill the Bill.  Today in Washington DC these six are the true representatives of We The People who live in Colorado. They attended the Kill the Bill Rally on the south side of the Capitol which started at noon.

When they get a chance to upload and send the pictures, we will see them with Rep. Michele Bachmann and Jon Voight. Thousands upon thousands joined them representing many of the other states, but we will probably never learn the actual number. Our Gang of Six were interviewed by Griff from the national Fox News but do not know if his interview with them was aired.  Did anyone see them since I was in a meeting most of the morning?

At 2pm our Gang of Six and two others from CO CD-3, met with Rep. Salazar for ~30 minutes.  Wendy is going to write up what happened, but suffice to say he was not persuade to Vote No. Additionally he lost his temper at the end of the meeting when a 65 year-old grandmother asked him how they were going to ensure “illegal aliens” did not benefit from the bill. He did not mind being call a socialist earlier in the meeting, but the two words in quotes set him off.  Wendy will provide more details of the meeting when she gets home.  Another group of 6 voters went in for a meeting with Salazar at 2:30 pm, but he refused to meet with any other voters from CO CD-3 who had made the trip to DC after the second meeting ended abruptly.

Our Four Corners Gang of Six were having lunch when I spoke to them about 3:30 pm EDT. They are going back to the Capitol for another Kill the Bill Rally at 5pm. Please send your good thoughts and prayers at 3:00 pm our time to be united with our true representatives in spirit.
