Expose the wishful thinking by politically tone deaf school administrators and school board members who came up with such an outlandish and unbelievable number. Think outside the box. Just say no. No spending on schools or anything else until Colorado's budget deficit and PERA"s unfunded liabilities are fixed, permanently. Think outside the box. Tell contractors slopping at the education pork trough to go away until Colorado's taxpayers can be sure that they get what they pay for and that they can afford to pay for it. Right now, Colorado can't afford new capital spending of any kind. It can't afford wish list, unnecessary maintenance. Only maintenance that makes plants and equipment safe should be funded. That anyone or organization would publish such nonsense as this report just shows out out of control the tax and spend education mafia is in Colorado. Think outside the box.
