**Update: February 18, and bring your checkbooks:
Here’s how the afternoon will unfold:
2 p.m. – A rally at the Fillmore Auditorium. Cost: $250 balcony seat; $100 priority standing and $25, general admission.
3:30 p.m. — Host committee reception at the Denver Sheraton. Cost: Write or raise $15,000.
4 p.m. – Cocktail reception at the Denver Sheraton. Cost: Write $1,000.
Lynn Bartels notes that “Information on how to attend the events will later be posted on Michael Bennet’s campaign Web site, www.bennetforcolorado.com.”
Given President Obama’s recent track record (Martha Coakley), this might not be such a good thing for the Anointed One to stump for the Appointed One:
The White House has confirmed that President Barack Obama will visit Colorado in February to attend an event with U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet.
White House spokesman Adam Abrams said Thursday that the details are still being worked out.
Craig Hughes, Bennet’s campaign manager, says Obama will be in Colorado to campaign for the senator, who is running for election. A date hasn’t been set.
