Jimmy Lakey endorsed by talk show host, candidate forums

Jimmy Lakey's candidacy for the Republicans' nomination to run against Democrat U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter in the seventh Congressional district has been endorsed by Hugh Hewitt and people who attended a couple of candidates' forums. Hewitt doesn't know much about Colorado. I have never listened to his radio show or read his blog, but some folks do, I'm sure. So I doubt that his endorsement is worth much. Lakey, a former talk show host himself, is the best speaker among the three leading CD-7 GOP candidates. But both he and Lang Sias started their campaigns much later than Ryan Frazier who is much better known and financed than Lakey and Sias. I've published an interview with Sias and extensive reports with audience interviews on presentations by Frazier and Lakey. Search their last names in column three of this blog. You'll get a pretty good idea about each candidate's knowledge and positions from the stories. Fellow Rocky Mountain Alliance blogger, Ben DeGrow, seems to be skeptical about the Hewitt endorsement of Lakey.Comments
