Opting out of federally-mandated ObamaCare:
In Colorado, organizers of a proposed ballot measure filed language with the state elections office Friday. They would like the state legislature to place the amendment on the ballot, but given that both houses are controlled by Democrats, that’s unlikely.
“I want Colorado to become a sanctuary state for good health care,” said Jon Caldara, president of the Independence Institute, who is leading the ballot effort. “People are angry, and rightfully so. If the legislature’s not going to step up and do something, then we’re going to have to.”

Good afternoon, Comrades. Here’s a quick report from the field. I just got back from the Free Our Health Care Rally down at the Capitol steps. There was a good turn out, lots of signs, and even a few people in costume! Here’s the preliminary report:

A shot toward the South as Coloradans begin to assemble for the rally.

Jon Caldara of the Independence Institute kicked off the rally. (NOT in costume)

Your personal health care. (In costume)

3D signs!

Another butt joke sign…

Well, the rally was about saving Colorado from Obamacare and Scott Brown may be able to do that if he can win today in Massachusetts.

That’s a novel idea. Fix unemployment before you break health care and cause higher rates of unemployment.

10th Amendment? But isn’t that Constitution thingy outdated and archaic?

When dealing with a Congress that acts like five year-olds, perhaps it’s best to speak their language.

Apparently there were members of the US Congress in attendance, because somebody threw away fiscal restraint.
