Methinks he’s got his parties backwards. I have to wonder if he’s that stupid that he doesn’t know the history of his own party, or if he just thinks that most Americans are too stupid to know that Democrats were the ones who clung to slavery.
Sadly, there’s probably an awful lot of Americans who wouldn’t question the implication that Republicans were responsible for and clung to slavery and Jim Crow, given what they’ve been taught.
