DMYR October GENERAL MEETING, October 27th featuring Mike Rosen
by Brett Moore | 12:35 am, October 14, 2009 | 6 Comments
Join DMYR on October 27th for our October General Meeting. This month we are pleased to welcome Mike Rosen, 850 KOA radio talk show host, Denver Post columnist, and conservative leader.
An Army veteran who holds an MBA from the University of Denver, Rosen has served many roles, including corporate finance executive, Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Navy, political consultant, and top commentator. Never afraid to ask the tough questions, Mike holds regular call-ins with Mayor Hickenlooper and Governor Ritter, taking them to task on their policies.

Join us for an evening of fiery political commentary and straight talk from a long time DMYR supporter and the Top Conservative on the Airwaves!
Our Agenda will also include continued nomination of one County Director from each of our member counties (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson). See By-laws for qualifications of officers. These individuals will be responsible for coordinating DMYR activities in their county. If you are ready to step up and play a critical role in your County and THE top Young Republican Organization in Colorado, we encourage you to run for these positions!
As the 2010 election cycle kicks into full swing and strong Republican candidates begin their march to victory over Liberal Democrats across Colorado, there is no better time for YOU to get involved in your community and the Republican Party!

A “top conservative” that supported the GM bailout.
I’m just sayin’.

Rosen also holds the honorable distinction of “knowing the most about the Austrian school of economics while simultaneously holding statist views.” Trust me, it is a very rare, but very distinct honor.

Then you should both head down to DMYR to challenge Rosen on these issues. I’m in the “no-bailouts whatsoever” camp, and Rosen’s support for GM was puzzling and disappointing.

elpresidente has it right – show up in large numbers to challenge Rosen, he has a lot of ‘splainin’ to do – and he can’t use “Mr. Hold Button” to shut you off this time.
My pet beef: Rosen’s looking down his nose at the “Tea Party” and other grassroots groups while carrying water for the GOP establishment.
Wake up and smell the revolution, Rosen!

So, Justin, who will be the speaker at the next Young Anarchocapitalists meeting?
October 15th, 2009 @ 8:36 am
Haha, well, most of the possibilities live in or near Auburn, or in or near Keene, NH. I’m afraid the young anarcho-capitalist club does not have the funds to fly speakers in.
