- ***Big Brother is watching. The Whitehouse is on the lookout for people who are not friendly with Obama Care. Could they be talking about our video? Reason.tv released a video on this new era of health care McCarthyism. So if you’d like to be a friend to the Whitehouse: spy on your neighbor and report them if they “send chain emails” or do anything otherwise considered “fishy.”
- ***Why do the Denver city central planners hate senior fellow Mike Krause’s property rights so much they want to downzone his entire Berkeley neighborhood — so that no one can ever add value to their property through redevelopment? Check out his op-ed Downzoning Northwest Denver is Contrary to Sustainable Development Goals.
- ***Join us for an update from Washington, D.C. with U.S. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann - Monday, August 31st. RSVP online here.
- ***Can you believe this September will be our 10th Independent Women’s Lunch?! I can’t believe I’ve let the women have this much fun without us. This time the keynote speaker is Lisa Schomp, CEO/President of Ralph Schomp Automotive. RSVP required!
- ***Americans for Prosperity’s Patients First bus tour has been a wild success. Fortunately for us, they are coming through Colorado the next few days. We’ve compiled all the locations and times in one place on our website: For Thursday location and times, go here. For Friday location and times, go here. And for Saturday’s Grand Junction rally, go here (time TBA). If you are going to be in another state, check out the Patients First event calendar to catch the rally near you!
