Anyone who voted for the Democrats because they thought the Republicans were big spenders?....I have some ocean front property in Phoenix to sell.
AFP: US deficit reaches more than one trillion dollars
Nine months into the 2009 fiscal year that ends September 30, the budget deficit widened by 94.316 billion dollars in June to 1.086 trillion dollars, according to the Treasury's monthly statement of receipts and outlays.Your grandchildren's children will be paying for this one.
The June deficit was slightly better than the 97.0 billion dollars most analysts had forecasted.
Receipts during the nine-month period to June amounted to 1.588 trillion dollars, eclipsed by outlays of 2.675 trillion dollars.
