Alright, kids. We are at Tax-Day + 96 hours. Which means that if you don’t yet know which tea party you’re going to, it’s time to get on it.
What else are you doing next Wednesday? Working? Please. You aren’t keeping a penny of it until after Tax Freedom Day. So, speak up.
This fine site has compiled the details of anti-IRS gatherings from sea to shining Schedule C.
Or, you could visit these lovely folk.
Heck, this site even sells Tax Day Tea Shirts. Yes, I know it’s a bad pun. But if you don’t get involved, I will find you and make more bad puns.
Not that you even need clothes to do this. Lady Godiva didn’t and everyone remembers her anti-tax stance.
You know those irritating e-mail pitches for campaign donations where the site they want you to go to is linked after every sentence?
Yeah. It’s gonna be like that.
Alternately, you could RSVP on good ol’ FaceBook.
C’mon. It’ll up your friend count when everyone sees the cool events you go to.
Myself, I will be at the National Capitol Tea Party. Send me proof of your RSVP and I will fling a tea bag with a message of your choosing onto the South lawn of Barry and Shelly’s place from Lafayette Park.
Really. Why are you still here? Go RSVP.
