Show Me the Incriminating Quote

PPC covered the pro-Israel rally held this past Sunday at the State Capitol. In response to one of our articles, a commentator is insisting that former Congressman Tom Tancredo screamed an epithet during the course of his remarks.
Asked to provide proof, he admits that he has no proof but still insists it did occur. We at PPC can’t find a shred of evidence for this claim, either. And we, along with hundreds of people on both sides, were there.
We tend to think that making a sport of character assassination when you admit you can’t back up your assertions is poor form.
So, here’s our challenge, to our commentator or to anyone else; let’s see the film.
UPDATE: Here’s the Ratheresque comment from “denver native”:
Tom Tancredo definitely said ‘nuke Mecca’ i was there also. It doesnt matter if you believe it or not, if you just listen to some of the things that he has to say about this conflict it will echo that. these politicians are supposed to be the smart senseful ones, however, that is rarely EVER the case.
and unfortunately i dont go walking around with my voice recorder to catch politicians saying extremely insensitive things, so no, i dont have proof either.
Fake, but accurate!
And here’s the bulk of Tom Tancredo’s speech – the real speech, not the one seared, seared into the memory of ”denver native”:
Note that the video picks up about 15-20 seconds into the speech. In the missing bit, Tancredo thanks the crowd and the organizers (typical speaker intro stuff) and recounts having just returned from Europe, where he found the press coverage even more nakedly biased against Israel than our own. If I can find video that includes that part, I’ll post that as well (still looking).

I’m sorry I failed to capture the whole speech on video, I was shooting still photographs when he started. I also don’t recall Mr. Tancredo saying any such thing as “nuke Mecca” or even referring to Mecca at all.
