Fellow RMA blogger Joshua Sharf wrote on this yesterday and I didn't see it until this morning. Apparently the Dems are once again afraid they will lose a voting block...people who can't get an ID!!!This makes me so mad I can't stand it. I've had a picture ID since I was 15 and I am 45 now. AND YES, I've had my wallet stolen before and had to get a new one. AND yes I've had to get a new birth certificate so I could get a photo ID.
Don't let the Democrats fool you, this is about helping people who are flying below the radar to vote. If it is too difficult to get a photo ID when your wallet is stolen because you don't have a photo ID, then fix that. Making it easier to commit voting fraud is apparently the default Liberal Democrat modus operandi.
It is illegal to walk around in public without a photo ID but the Dems want you to be able to vote without one. ....WHY IS THAT?

On a straight party-line vote, the State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee, just voted down a bill that would have required a photo ID for voting in Colorado.
The arguments opposed were presented by the usual suspects, arguing an undue burden on those who might not be able to obtain a photo id. The fact is, this problem affects a vanishingly small portion of the population, in large part because of the wide variety of supplemental documents that can be used to obtain a driver's license or a state ID.
In part because of the forgone nature of the vote, the Republicans on the committee did a fairly poor job of going after the opponents of the bill, READ THE RESTComments
