First thoughts on Michelle?
Lots of words, lots of platitudes, money shots of openly weeping delegates, and no substance. That’s the disappointment. Whatever you think of her politics, racial views, and social aspirations, Michelle Obama is intelligent, educated, accomplished, and fiercely driven. She should have been able to deliver more than a neatly memorized set of bland niceties. All the hype for so much rhetorical fluff.
And while I take a fairly gloves-off approach to the grown-ups, leave the children at home. They aren’t political props.

Out of curiosity, did you have this written before the speech? Did any of us have any doubts what your conclusion would be?
I’m keeping track of your rules too:
Children - political props.
Cancer - political club.

So, CS, how do you feel about your buddy Alex Jones threatening to KILL Michelle Malkin, and inciting the mob to KILL Michelle Malkin?

Heh, CS, how about turning on comments on your site, so that Eileen can stalk *you*.

I have no use for Alex Jones. He’s a wack job. Why exactly are you all chasing him around? And Michelle Malkin can learn a valuable lesson from this - baiting wacko’s can be a dangerous business - maybe she should rethink her career choices.
As for comments, my site doesn’t pretend to be anything but a personal aggregator of things I find interesting. The wannabe “journalism” going on here demands some balance - just like Fox News!
I have no idea who you are random, but you’ll never get a job blogging for a right wing think tank with such thin skin.
