DNC Anti-War Protest – Early Hours

Peoples Press just popped back from the Anti-War Protest. Here’s a bit of the zaniness we saw early on. Protestors are presently getting rowdy and we’re pulling that coverage together.
They descend on our Capitol.
A protest without makeup just isn’t a protest worth having.
Oragami for peace. Totally gonna work.
What we have here are some well-read protestors.
Don’t know about you, but she and I share the same Three-Favoritest-Dictators list. Dictators, yeah, that’s how we can end war…

I’m amazed this dude was even out of bed at 9:00 AM.
This is either a decapitated polar bear, or that big dog from The Neverending Story.
I know I feel safer with protestor medics!

Here’s a close up. You got me on this one. Sadam with an Angel in a red, white, and blue tutu? Guess I’m just not artsy enough to understand this one.
This dude is either protest security, or a bank robber. I’m going with bank robber.
And then it got kinda weird. With all the Olympic coverage going on over the last few weeks, I sorta felt like I was there in Bejing.
Mexico, represent!
Palestine, represent!
Iraq, represent!
Communists, represent! Hey, I remember this hippster from yesterday!
United States of America, represent! Hold up, where is the American delegation? Oh, right. They’re over there on the other side of the street.

Hey, I saw somebody in the crowd shots at the Olympics wearing that same “3 Dictators” shirt! He was sitting in front of the family of an American competitor.
