DNC 2008: 9/11 “Truther” attempts to incite riot against Michelle Malkin

At today's protest outside the Denver Mint the scene started out uneventful enough. Re-Create 68 started a silly though peaceful protest involving people in Wizard's robes and capes "casting spells" on the Denver Mint (video of that coming later). The protest wasn't peaceful for long as Alex Jones, a 9/11 conspiracy pusher, happened to notice conservative blogger Michelle Malkin wandering the crowd. Jones immediately attempt to do what can only be described as trying to incite a riot. One of the "peace" protesters started chanting "Kill Michelle Malkin." Denver Police stood by and didnt make any apparent moves to defuse the situation. One would think that when a protester starts screaming to kill someone or when Alex Jones ran across a street at Malkin they might have at least moved in to do something. They crossed the line from admirable restraint in the name of free speech to dangerous apathy today. Luckily for Michelle they were apparently a large number of incognito conservative bloggers in the media crowd who would have intervened had things gotten any more heated.Comments
