Democratic National Convention | The Spirit of ‘68

Want to relive the revolutionary spirit of 1968 when protesters took to the streets of Chicago during the Democratic National Convention? Glenn Spagnuolo and his organization Recreate ’68 intend to take to the streets of Denver during the 2008 Democratic National Convention to protest the two party system and being sold out by the Democrat party. Looking to maintain law and order, Denver City Councilman Charlie Brown is leery of putting out the welcome mat for the pending protest-fest. Both Spagnuolo and Brown join me on Independent Thinking for what is sure to be a spirited debate about the First Amendment and reliving the “Days of Rage.” That’s tonight at 8:30 p.m. on KBDI Channel 12; enjoy it a second time the following Tuesday evening at 5 p.m.
